Motion Tracker
I have created these images to use as decals for the motion tracker carried by the 1/8th Ripley kit by GEOmetric Designs. I couldn't decide how 'active' I wanted it at the time, so I did several versions. Hopefully they may be useful to others as well.

Although they appear rather large in the browser window, they have been saved at a resolution of 500 pixels/cm, which when printed should come out at the correct size for use with the motion tracker supplied with the kit.
Of course much of the actual detail will be lost when printing, but it was easier to start with something at a useable size and let the printer take care of scaling.
For best results, you will need:
- The image(s) you require.
- A high quality colour printer (Epson 740 inkjet works great).
- Some "coated" hi-res paper.
- A graphics package that interprets image resolution parameters (PhotoShop, PaintShop Pro etc).
- A very sharp scalpel & straight edge.
- A black felt-tip pen.
Here's what to do:
- Save the files required by right-clicking on the picture and selecting the "save picture" option or similar.
- Load the file into the graphics package and print it, selecting the highest quality print options your particular printer supports. The image should (fingers crossed) come out approximately 6mm x 4mm.
- Carefully cut out the image from the paper.
- Run the black felt-tip pen along each side of the image to darken the edges of the paper.
- Finally stick the image into the Tracker viewscreen window with a blob of glue.
