| Notes | This diorama features the 1954 Kaiyodo Godzilla, some Future Wars tanks and APC's from Ground Zero Games range of wargame miniatures, and Doyusha's Osaka Castle and Kofuku-ji pagoda. Floors were added inside the castle, and the corner was cut away and distressed to make it look like it's just been smashed. The jet-copter is suspended on two steel wire 'rocket trails' - the wires were painted white, then coated in superglue and rolled in cotton wool. After a few minutes the wires were pulled out gently, leaving a residual amount of cotton wool stuck on. The diorama recently took 1st place in it's category at the 2000 UK IPMS Nationals. |
