3D Modelling
As well as 'real' modelling I also enjoy 'virtual' modelling with Autodesk 3D Studio.
This is a gallery of some of the pictures and models that came out slightly better than most...

UFO from Gerry Anderson's
UFO TV show - The UFO craft was
originally rendered for use in a
screen saver I wrote, but I then
added a couple more and a scenic backdrop to create this picture.
A close-up of the UFO model.
Another close-up from a different angle.
UFO described by George Adamski - This is a basic render for use in
my UFO
screen saver.
The Martian's saucer from the Tim Burton film "Mars Attacks!".
Again this was rendered for the UFO
screen saver.
A work-in-progress version with legs!
"Feathers" McGraw from the Wallace & Gromit adventure "The Wrong Trousers".
"Feathers" McGraw in more natural settings.
The Lament Configuration puzzle box from Hellraiser. This was
later turned into another
screen saver.
"In The Shadow Of Z'Ha'Didcot" - I work in the shadow of Didcot power station (loveleeee!),
so I spoofed this up with the aid of 3DS and PhotoShop. A tongue in cheek nod towards
Babylon 5.
US Scientist Bob Lazar allegedly worked on this UFO at Area
S4 in the Nevada Desert. Allegedly.
Cans of Spam. These and the cones were produced for in-page
graphics used elsewhere on the web site.
Traffic cones.
